Curb Idle Speed Check (Sebring Coupe & Stratus Coupe)

  1. Before proceeding, check base ignition timing. See IGNITION TIMING  . Start engine and let it idle for 2 minutes.
  2. Using scan tool, select item No. 22, and read idle speed. Curb idle speed should be 600-800 RPM. If curb idle speed is not as specified, perform appropriate test in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES - SEBRING COUPE & STRATUS COUPE article.
