Removal - 2.4L

  1. Partially drain cooling system below thermostat housing level.
  2. Remove thermostat (refer to REMOVAL  .
  3. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
  4. Disconnect heater supply hose.
  5. Remove housing attaching bolts (Fig 1).
  6. Remove housing and gasket (Fig 1).
