Cooling Fan Motor

NOTE: If fan motor is noticeably overheated, system voltage may be too high. Check charging system. If fan is warped, cracked or damaged, replace fan or fan assembly. Fan is secured to motor shaft with a nut or clip depending on model.

Disconnect cooling fan motor harness connector. Observing correct harness connector terminal polarity, connect 12-volts and ground to electric fan motor connector terminals. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Replace electric fan motor if it fails to operate.
