Instrument Cluster Quick Test
- As a quick diagnosis, instrument cluster will perform a function check immediately after ignition is switched to RUN or START position. Electronic display, odometer/transmission range indicator and all warning lights will illuminate for a brief period except:
- CRUISE
- Foglights
- High Beam
- Low Fuel
- Turn Signals
- Oil Pressure (Sebring Convertible)
- Security System LED (Sebring Convertible)
- BRAKE (Sebring Convertible)
- TRAC OFF (Sebring Convertible)
- If cluster is not receiving CCD bus messages, cluster will appear non-functional except for NO BUS message displayed and continuously illuminated AIR BAG warning indicator. On Stratus, ABS and MIL lights will also be illuminated. On all models, if instrument cluster is not receiving CCD bus messages, repair communications concern.
