Instrument Cluster: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 2 minutes. Remove left end cover by pulling outward. Tilt steering column down to its lowest position. Remove instrument cluster center bezel by disengaging 4 clips. See Fig 1
.
- Remove 4 instrument cluster hood mounting screws. Three screws are located behind center bezel, and one screw is located at left end of hood. Pull hood rearward to disengage 8 clips.
- On models equipped with Compass/Temperature Mini Trip Computer (CMTC), pull hood rearward only about 3 inches. On all models, reach through radio opening and disconnect CMTC wire connector. Remove cluster hood.
- Remove 4 instrument cluster mounting screws. See Fig 1
. Disconnect wire connectors from instrument cluster by pulling instrument cluster rearward. Remove instrument cluster.
