Compass/Mini-Trip Computer
Available only on Sebring Convertible, Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC) is located on right side of instrument cluster. See Fig 1 . This dual-function display provides a digital readout of ambient (outside) temperature and 8 primary compass readings to indicate direction in which vehicle is facing.
Pressing STEP button on CMTC will change mode of operation between compass, ambient temperature and trip computer. Pressing US/M button will toggle display between English and Metric readings. Resetting trip computer display is accomplished by pressing and holding both STEP and US/M button at same time.
To calibrate CMTC, see COMPASS CALIBRATION under PROGRAMMING. CAL will be displayed to indicate that compass is in fast calibrating mode. CAL display may be turned off after vehicle has completed 3 circles without stopping, in an area free of magnetic disturbance.
