Test 16: PCI Bus Failure

  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt communication with the Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC). If scan tool is able to identify or communicate with MIC, go to next step. If scan tool is not able to identify or communicate with MIC, see appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Turn ignition on, and wait approximately 1 minute. Using scan tool, read DTCs. If DTC reappears, replace CAB. If DTC does not reappear, test is complete.
