Rear Hub & Bearing Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the hub and bearing assembly on the knuckle spindle. Install a NEW retaining nut. Tighten the retaining nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install the hub and bearing dust cap using a soft faced hammer. Install the brake rotor on the hub and bearing. See REAR BRAKE ROTOR  .
  3. Install the rear disc brake caliper. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER  . Install the rear tire and wheel assembly on vehicle.
  4. Tighten wheel lug nuts to specification. Lower the vehicle.
