Removal & Installation (Front Window Regulators - Sebring Convertible)

  1. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Remove plastic watershield from door. Remove nuts securing window glass to regulator roller channel. Secure glass in full-up position. Mark position of rear roller channel bolt for installation reference and remove bolt. Disconnect power window motor connector.
  2. Loosen rear roller channel bolt. Separate roller channel from inner door panel. Loosen window regulator-to-inner door panel bolts. Separate bolt heads from key-hole slots in inner door panel. Remove window regulator through large hole in inner door panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  3. Immediately after installation and before operation of window or convertible top, adjustment is necessary for proper operation and sealing of window. This also ensures window is not damaged by convertible top or quarter window glass. See FRONT WINDOW  under ADJUSTMENTS.
