Removal & Installation (Front & Rear Windows - All Models)

1. On all models, remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Disconnect wiring connector from power window motor. Remove window regulator. See WINDOW REGULATOR  .
2. Using a "C" clamp, clamp sector gear to regulator mounting plate to prevent regulator movement and possible injury to fingers. See Fig 1 . Remove 3 power window motor mounting bolts, and remove motor from regulator.
3. Install motor on regulator so motor engages sector gear teeth. Rotate motor as necessary to align 3 motor mounting bolts. Tighten motor mounting bolts to 70 INCH lbs. (8.0 N.m). Install regulator assembly. Using window switch, test window motor operation. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
