Ignition Lock Cylinder: Installation
- Insert ignition key into lock cylinder. Turn key to ON position (retaining tab can be depressed). Shaft at end of lock cylinder aligns with socket in end of housing. To align socket with lock cylinder, ensure socket is in ON position.
- Align lock cylinder with grooves in housing. Slide lock cylinder into housing until tab sticks through opening in housing. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove key. Install steering column shrouds. Connect negative battery cable.
