Self-Diagnostic System: Self-Diagnostics

This procedure will initiate a self-check within the instrument cluster. To place instrument cluster in self-diagnostic mode, turn ignition on while pressing trip rest button. Release trip reset button. Gauges will move in increments and all indicators will turn on with exception of turn signal, liftgate ajar and foglight indicators. The oil light will come on when ignition is on and engine is off. If any gauges or indicators do not work properly or any messages are displayed in odometer/trip Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display, diagnose and repair related system as necessary.
