Test 13A: ACM, Interrogate Left SIACM (Active Code)

NOTE: Prior to performing any air bag system test, go to PRETEST INSPECTION & DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE under DIAGNOSTICS. Perform TEST VER-1: AIR BAG VERIFICATION TEST after all repairs unless otherwise directed.

Connect DRB to DLC. Turn ignition switch to ON position. On DRB, select SIDE AIRBAG and LEFT SIACM. On DRB display, read active left SIACM DTCs. If DRB displays any active left SIACM DTCs, go to appropriate test and diagnose malfunction. See ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) table. If DRB does not display any active left SIACM DTCs, replace ACM. See AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE (ACM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
