Passenger-Side Air Bag Module

The passenger-side air bag module is mounted to instrument panel reinforcement and is beneath the instrument panel top pad. It contains a squib, air bag cover, air bag cushion, pyrotechnic initiator, argon gas inflator and supporting hardware. Upon sufficient frontal impact, ACM actuates inflator, deploying air bag.
