Removal (Sebring Coupe & Stratus Coupe - 3.0L)

1. Release fuel pressure from fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Drain engine coolant. Remove air cleaner. Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY .
2. Remove strut tower bar. Disconnect all hoses and harness connectors necessary for air intake plenum removal. Remove EGR pipe-to-air intake plenum bolts. Remove power steering pump bracket-to-air intake plenum bolts.
3. Remove air intake plenum support bracket bolts. Remove front engine mount bracket. Remove air intake plenum mounting bolts. Remove air intake plenum and gasket. Disconnect injector harness connectors.
4. Remove high-pressure fuel hose-to-fuel rail bolts. Remove high-pressure fuel hose and "O" ring. Disconnect vacuum hose and fuel return hose from fuel pressure regulator. Remove fuel rail bolts. Remove fuel rail with injectors attached. See Fig 1.
