Disabling System

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable remote terminal located near right strut tower. Also, disconnect any auxiliary batteries or power supplies (if equipped). After disconnecting negative battery cable, wait at least 2 minutes for reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing air bag system.
