Activating System (Eldorado)

  1. Remove key from ignition switch. Ensure SIR fuse is still removed from fuse block. Connect Yellow 2-pin SIR connector behind glove box. Install CPA clip. Ensure connector is attached to sheetmetal, away from A/C mix door actuator. Install glove box. Connect Yellow 2-pin SIR connector at base of steering column. Install CPA clip. Install left-side sound insulator panel.
  2. Install SIR fuse in fuse block. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times, and then turns off.
