Caliper/Wheel Cylinder Bleed Screws

  1. Start engine. Press brake pedal several times until resistance is felt.
  2. Press and hold brake pedal. Connect piece of clear tubing between bleed screw and container of clean brake fluid. Loosen first bleed screw 1/3 to 1/2 turn, then close screw before fluid pressure is gone. See BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE  table. Release brake pedal.
  3. Repeat step  2 until air bubbles no longer appear in fluid. Close bleed screw. Repeat procedure at left front, left rear and right front brake bleed screws, respectively.
