Self-Diagnostic System: Self-Diagnostics

This procedure will initiate a self-check within the instrument cluster. To place instrument cluster in self-diagnostic mode, turn ignition on while pressing trip rest button located at bottom of right gauge. Release trip reset button. Gauges will move in increments and all indicators will turn on with exception on turn signal, high beam and foglight indicators. The oil light will come on when ignition is on and engine is off. Self-diagnostics is complete. If any messages are displayed in odometer/trip Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display, diagnose and repair related system as necessary.
