Bench Bleeding Master Cylinder

NOTE: Bleed tubes must have a residual pressure check valve installed to keep tubes from siphoning brake fluid.

Clamp master cylinder in vise at mounting flange. Install bleed tubes in outlet ports so that outlets of bleed tubes are below surface of properly filled brake fluid reservoir. Fill reservoir with clean brake fluid.
Using a wooden dowel, slowly compress and release piston assemblies until bubbles no longer appear in brake fluid. Remove tubes, and plug master cylinder outlets to keep fluid from draining.
