Front Brake Caliper & Pads: Notes

NOTE: Starting with 1998 models, different brake shoe lining is used on disc brake shoes depending on type of brake system. Be sure brake pads used are for correct model year and type of brake system.

NOTE: Replace disc pads on both sides. New and used disc pad assemblies should not be mixed. Front and rear caliper pistons have different diameters, and should not be interchanged.
