Pinion Factor Writing Procedure

NOTE: Perform this procedure if Transmission Control Module (TCM) has been replaced or tire size on vehicle has been changed.

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Select SPECIAL FUNCTION on scan tool. Select PINION FACTOR MODE. Enter tire size (when replacing TCM) or update current tire size (change in tire size) into TCM memory. After performing writing procedure, recheck system operation.
