Front & Rear Brake Caliper, Rotor & Pads: Inspection

- Replace pads if thickness is less than .36" (9 mm). Measure rotor thickness in 12 or more locations. Replace rotor and pads if rotor thickness is less than .843" (21.41 mm).
- To measure rotor runout, tighten rotor to hub with wheel lug nuts. Measure rotor runout at approximately 1" (25.4 mm) from outer circumference of rotor. If runout is equal to or exceeds .005" (.13 mm), remove rotor and install with studs in different rotor holes. Remeasure runout. If changing position of rotor and hub does not eliminate runout, replace rotor.
