Removal & Installation
- Raise and support vehicle. Back off brake adjuster if necessary. Remove brake drum and bearing. Remove automatic adjuster lever spring. Remove 2 hold-down clips and pins. Remove lower shoe return spring.
- Remove parking brake lever pin from rear shoe retaining clip. Remove both shoes, upper return spring and adjuster screw as an assembly.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate shoe contact area on backing plate with high temperature brake lubricant.
