Intake Manifold: Inspection

Discard old gaskets, and clean all gasket surfaces of manifold and cylinder heads. Check upper and lower manifold gasket surfaces for flatness. Manifold must be flat within .006" (.15 mm) per 12" (300 mm) of manifold length. Inspect for cracks or distortion. Replace manifold if necessary.
