Front Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure front brake caliper-to-steering knuckle sliding surfaces are coated with multipurpose grease before installing front brake caliper.
  2. Ensure front brake caliper-to-steering knuckle guide pin bolts are not cross-threaded. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Pump brake pedal several times until brake pedal is firm.
