Rear Wheel Bearings: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Using NEW hub and bearing assembly-to-rear spindle nut, tighten nut to 124 ft. lbs. (168 N.m). Tighten caliper guide pin bolts to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m).
  2. Install wheels. Tighten wheel nuts in crisscross sequence to half torque, then repeat tightening sequence to full torque. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
