Intake Manifold: Inspection

Inspect intake manifold for cracks, damage or distortion. Replace intake manifold as necessary. Ensure intake manifold and plenum chamber are clean and not plugged. Discard old gaskets and clean all gasket surfaces of manifold and cylinder heads. Check upper and lower manifold gasket surfaces for flatness. Standard flatness value is .006" (.15 mm). Flatness limit is .008" (.20 mm).
