Removal (Right Cylinder Head)

  1. Remove intake manifold plenum chamber. See INTAKE MANIFOLD . Remove intake manifold plenum chamber stay. Remove HO2S. On vehicles equipped with cruise control, disconnect vacuum hose connected to cruise control reservoir assembly. Remove cruise control reservoir assembly. On all vehicles, remove power steering pump drive belt cover.
  2. Remove A/C and alternator drive belts. Remove alternator bracket. Remove intake manifold plenum stay. Disconnect alternator harness connector. Remove alternator. Remove EGR pipe. Remove exhaust manifold stay. Remove exhaust manifold and gasket.
