Delayed Engagement From Neutral To Reverse

Check for aerated fluid, damaged clutch seals, engine idle speed too low, faulty oil pump, hydraulic pressures too low, incorrect shift linkage or cable adjustment, low fluid level, oil filter restricted, valve body malfunction or leakage. Check for worn or broken reaction shaft support seal rings, accumulator seal rings, input shaft seal rings, or reverse clutch.
