Resistance Test

Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between fuel gauge terminal and ground terminal with float at points "F" and "E". See Fig 3 . See FUEL SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table. Ensure resistance changes smoothly when float arm is moved slowly between points "F" and "E". Replace sending unit if readings are not as specified.
