Except LeBaron Sedan

  1. Perform self-diagnostics to ensure bulb will glow. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS.
  2. If bulb does not glow, check for defective bulb. Replace bulb and retest. If instrument cluster asterisk (*) is flashing, check for CCD serial data bus line problem. See appropriate TESTS W/CODES - BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
  3. If asterisk is not flashing, check inputs for low washer fluid or 6door/deck at body computer connector. See appropriate TESTS W/CODES - BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. For inoperative CHECK ENGINE indicator, check engine controller operation. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE.
