LeBaron Convertible/Coupe

  1. Remove turn signal switch from instrument panel switch pod. See TURN SIGNAL SWITCH R & I  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Connect jumper wire between a battery voltage source and pin No. 4 of turn signal switch 14-pin connector. See Figure .
  2. Move turn signal switch lever to left turn position. Using a second jumper wire, connect one end to ground and momentarily touch other end of jumper wire to pin No. 1 or 2. Solenoid should energize and return switch lever to center (OFF) position.
  3. Move turn signal lever to right turn position. As in step 2), momentarily touch end of second jumper wire to pin No. 1 or 2. Solenoid should energize and return switch lever to center (OFF) position. If turn signal switch does not return to center (OFF) position as described, replace turn signal switch assembly.
