Crankshaft Front Seal

Disconnect battery cables. Remove right wheel inner splash shield. Remove drive belts. Remove vibration damper. Using Seal Remover (C-4991), remove seal from timing chain cover. See Fig 1 .

Using Seal Installer (C-4992), install seal until even with timing chain cover surface. Using Plate (L-4524), thrust bearing/washer and bolt, install vibration damper. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
