Cluster Not Illuminated After Vehicle Starts

  1. If fuses in fuse block are good, remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER R & I  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on.
  2. Using voltmeter, ensure battery and ignition voltage exist at appropriate instrument cluster connector terminals. See Figure and Figure . See appropriate ELECTRONIC CLUSTER CONNECTOR TERMINAL SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  3. Using ohmmeter, check instrument cluster connector ground circuit(s). If battery voltage and ground exist at connector(s), replace electronic cluster assembly.
