Fuel Sending Unit R & I: Installation
- To install, ensure "O" ring sealing area of tank is clean and dry. Install "O" ring and sending unit into tank. Install lock ring in position and turn slightly clockwise.
- Carefully tap lock ring into locked position using hammer and brass drift or punch. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fuel tank strap nuts to 250 INCH lbs. (23 N.m). Tighten fuel filler tube-to-quarter panel retaining screws to 17 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
