Instrument Cluster Lighting

Electronic instrument cluster will turn on for about 30 seconds when driver's door is opened and ignition is off. Instrument cluster is functional within 2 seconds after ignition is turned on. When headlights are turned on, instrument cluster illumination will dim but is adjustable with headlight switch rheostat. Additional detent on headlight switch rheostat allows normal daytime illumination when driving with headlights on during daylight hours.
