Engine Indicators: Notes
Engine oil pressure, coolant temperature and system voltage are monitored by both gauges and indicator lights. If CHECK ENGINE warning light activates, an engine problem exists. Vehicle should be checked prior to prolonged driving.
NOTE:
On turbo models, CHECK ENGINE light may activate during full acceleration to indicate excessive boost pressure or engine overspeed. Reduction in acceleration will deactivate the light.
