Removal (Conquest)

  1. To relieve fuel pressure, remove floor panel in luggage compartment. Disconnect electrical connector near fuel pump. Start engine and let engine run until it stops. Turn ignition off and disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Drain coolant and engine oil. Remove heat protectors surrounding turbocharger unit. Remove oxygen sensor and disconnect secondary pipe. Disconnect all external air and vacuum hoses connected to turbocharger unit.
  3. Disconnect and remove oil pipe from turbocharger unit. Disconnect catalytic converter from turbocharger unit and support out of the way. Disconnect both water pipe connectors and disconnect lower oil return pipe. Remove turbocharger unit. Remove exhaust manifold assembly.
