Disassembly & Inspection (Rocker Shaft Assemblies)

Reference mark all components for proper location BEFORE disassembling rocker shaft assemblies. See Figure. Inspect rocker arms and shafts for wear, damage or flaking. Measure rocker arm I.D. and rocker shaft O.D. Determine oil clearance. Replace components if not within specification. See ROCKER ARM & SHAFT SPECIFICATIONS  table.
