Fuel Gauge Test 1 - Gauge Tested At Instrument Panel
NOTE:
The following test must be completed with instrument panel cluster removed. Measurements are all made with an ohmmeter. If resistance is extremely low, there may be a short in the coil. If resistance is extremely high, there may be a broken wire or similar problem in the gauge.
Measure resistance between terminals. See Fig 1 to Fig 8 . If resistance specifications do not conform to FUEL GAUGE RESISTANCE specifications, replace fuel gauge.
