"Your Parking Brake Is On" Circuit
- Start engine. Set parking brake to first or second click or until brake warning light is on. Place transmission in Drive and move vehicle forward a few feet. If no response is heard, test brake lamp switch and wiring.
- Also test distance sensor and wiring to voice alert module. Repair circuit(s) if necessary. Repeat parking brake on test. If no response is heard, replace voice alert module.
