Removal & Installation (Daytona & Laser)

  1. Remove 5 screws attaching top of cluster bezel to instrument panel. Pull bezel rearward to disengage 3 clips on bottom of bezel. Remove bezel. Remove 4 screws attaching cluster to base panel. Pull cluster assembly rearward.
  2. Reach under cluster and disconnect speedometer cable and wiring harness. Remove cluster assembly. To remove tachometer, remove cluster bezel and 5 screws holding cluster mask. Remove tachometer attaching screws. Pull tachometer rearward to remove.
  3. To remove speedometer/odometer, remove cluster bezel and 5 screws holding cluster mask. Remove 3 screws attaching speedometer to cluster. On vehicles with cruise control, disconnect speedometer cable at cruise control servo. Pull speedometer rearward and disconnect from cable.
  4. To remove voltmeter and fuel gauge, remove cluster bezel and mask. Remove tachometer. Remove screws attaching gauge assembly to cluster. Pull rearward to remove gauge assembly.
  5. To remove temperature and oil pressure gauge, remove cluster bezel and mask. Remove speedometer. Remove screws attaching gauge assembly to cluster. Pull rearward to remove gauge assembly.
  6. To remove printed circuit, remove cluster. Remove gauge alert and tachometer driver module. Remove gauge alert module, if used. Remove lamp sockets and screws securing printed circuit board. To install components, reverse removal procedure.
