Odometer Memory Chip: Removal
- Remove cluster. Place cluster on a clean surface with front down. Open speedometer access doors by pressing latch ears toward center of door. The odometer chip is located just inside access door.
- Note position of chip for reassembly reference. Using Odometer Chip Removal and Installation Pliers (C-4817), grasp chip under ends of odometer chip. To remove chip, rock chip along its longitudinal axis while pulling gently.
