Power Limited/Loss Light

Power limited/loss light comes on to indicate that a driveability problem has been detected by system diagnostics. Vehicle performance may be unreliable until system is checked and repaired.

If power loss light comes on during boost from a turbocharger, overboost or excessive engine RPM is indicated. Backing off on accelerator should allow light to go off.

If engine is operated with excessive boost pressure for any length of time, fuel supply will be interrupted to prevent engine damage. Once boost pressure is within normal range, driving may be continued.
