Lateral RUNOUT - RWD Models

  1. Tighten wheel bearings until all end play is eliminated. Attach dial indicator to suspension so that dial pointer contacts rotor surface approximately one inch from outer edge.
  2. Rotate and record measurement. If runout exceeds specifications, refinish or replace rotor/hub assembly as required. Readjust wheel bearing after lateral runout check.
