Speed Diagnostic Function

  1. If navigator functions "RANGE," "DEST," "SPD," "TRIP," "ETA," & "ECON" are not normal, check navigator using speed diagnostic function as follows: Press "SPD" button. Within 5 seconds press "US/M" and "RESET" buttons simultaneously. Then press "SET" button. Enter "122" into the navigator.
  2. Display should read about 1.11 times vehicle speed. For example, display should read between 5 and 6 MPH for actual vehicle speed of 5 MPH. To deactivate speed diagnostic function, press "SET" button and then another function button. If speed function indicates failure, check speed sensor and wiring. If speed function is correct, replace navigator.
