Odometer Memory Chip: Removal
- Remove cluster. Place cluster on a clean surface with front down. Open the speedometer access doors by pressing latch ears toward the center of door. The odometer chip is located just inside the access door.
- Note position of notch for reassembly reference. Using special pliers (C-4817), grasp the chip between tool jaws under the ends of the odometer chip. Rock the chip along its longitudinal axis while pulling gently to remove.
