Instrument Cluster & Lighting

Electronic instrument cluster is completely operational within 2 seconds after ignition is turned on. Daytime (headlights off) illumination brightness is greater than nighttime (headlights on) illumination. When headlights are turned on, cluster illumination is made dimmer. The brightness can be adjusted with headlight switch rheostat. An additional detent on headlight switch rheostat allows normal daytime illumination when driving with headlights on during daylight hours.
