Differential Case: Notes

NOTE: The Sure-Grip differential is serviced as an assembly only. See Spicer Power-Lock or Spicer Trac-Lock in this Section.

Place rear axle assembly in a suitable holding fixture and drain lubricant from housing and remove cover. Clean interior of housing and gears with solvent. Before removing differential case check ring gear runout.
